Q: Can I activate my button(transmitter) out in my yard?
A: Yes. In most cases the button(transmitter) will transmit as far away as 300 feet.
Q: Do I have to wear the button(transmitter) around my neck?
A: No. We have buttons(transmitters) you can wear as a necklace as well as a "watch-style" button you can wear on your wrist.
Q: Can I wear my button(transmitter) in the shower?
A: Yes. We recommend you always wear your button!
Q: What if I am injured and cannot get to my phone to speak with the emergency dispatchers?
A: Most of our systems have 2-way voice capabilities. Once you press your button(transmitter), you can speak with emergency personnel anywhere in your home without your phone.
Q: Do I have to sign-up to a 1 or 2 year contract?
A: No. We do not put our customers on contracts.
Q: If I have an emergency and push my button(transmitter), who will be contacted?
A: You will be contacted first to make sure you really have an emergency. Then the ambulance will be called. After that anyone you have on you call list will be notified.
Q: If I push my button, will I speak to live person?
A: Yes. Our monitoring is done by trained individuals who are there to answer your calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Q: What if I am unable to talk to the dispatcher?
A: Once you push your button, our dispatcher will attempt to speak with you. If they do not receive a verbal response from you they will go ahead and send an ambulance.
